White Carpets
White carpets are great at brightening up a dark room or making a small room seem larger. You can get away with white carpets if you do not have children or pets. Dark Natural Colors
If you have kids or pets you should choose darker natural colors. Lean towards browns or grays in darker shades. They will hide soil and you will find that you can go longer between vacuuming and carpet cleanings with them.
